Join us for a day photographing not only the most famous residents here, the New Forest Pony, but any other wildlife we may come across such as donkeys, the slightly more elusive highland cattle, and in September pigs are released to eat the acorns.  Along the way there will also be some stunning landscapes and macro opportunities to try our hand at.  All levels of photographic ability are welcome -  point and shoot cameras and non photographers can still learn about composition and enjoy a lovely day out.  .  Learn which focusing techniques will get you the best image, how depth of field and white balance will dramatically change your shot, and how framing makes all the difference between a good image and a great image.

The workshops start early at 0800 to make the most of the morning light, finishing around 1300.  In May and June we'll find lovely spring/summer colours and hopefully frolicking foals.  In August the beautiful pink/purple heather is out making for some very different images.  During August we can also arrange evening sessions for sunset colours on the heather.  We will move around the New Forest to a number of locations in my vehicle, leaving other vehicles in a free car park (or if more comfortable take one other car in convoy), as there are so many great spots, stopping for lunch at one of the many picnic areas so please bring with you any food or drink you will need, including snacks.  There are many places we will pass with toilet facilities.

Meeting point - we will meet at 0800 at: Bolderwood deer sanctuary car park SO43 7GQ.  Directions and map will be provided if required when booking
